This Week w/Jenn @Quilters Depot!

Hi all!

It's Sunday again.

Did Laundry again.  Long armed a Quilt.  Now doing computer work.  I think I'm in a rut........lol

I worked on the store's 3500D a lot this week.  Been working on a special digitizing project.  i really wish i had more time to take classes and learn how to do stuff right instead of let's push this button and see what happens...........lol

I also worked on my Hoop Sisters BOM!  I have about 1/5 of the way through month 3.  I also got the Blue Sample done for the Brother Time/Hoop Sisters Event in July!  Check it out!  I didn't get the binding on it yet.  I think if I had time I would be doing a quilt for myself, but I know I don't have the time........lol  Later in the week you will be once again reminded to register.  Please do so!  this is going to be an awesome event!

I also have been working on my newest Cowl by Laura Nelkin.  I promised you a picture last week and here it is.  I think I am probably about 25% done!  It's pretty easy!  Not sure if you can see the pattern real well, but it's pretty cool!

Have a Great week! and Remember the one with the most stash wins!

This Week w/Jenn @Quilters Depot

Hi all!

Happy Memorial Day a  Day Early!

Thank you to all our serviceman and women past and present and their families for all they do!

So this Sunday there is one major thing I am doing.  Watching  RACING!  Right now I have the Indy 500 on and then later the Nascar race will their race.

Now that doesn't mean that's all I am doing.

I did laundry.  I long armed a quilt.  I did the dreaded clothing swap for the season.  I hate doing this.  I never give up my comfy clothes no matter if they fit right or not which means my closet is a tad full.  Forget shopping I wouldn't have a place to put it no matter if I want something or not.

I am now doing the weekly computer work as I watch the races.

I started the newest knitting class.  Laura Nelkin's Cambrio.  I ripped twice but I finally got it that I'm happy and working on it.  I am not far enough along to show you but instead I thought I'd show you Abbie when I'm knitting.

Have a great week!

This Week w/Jenn @Quilters Depot!

Hi all!

I finished Month 2 of my Hoop Sisters BOM this week!  I swore I took a picture of it but it's not on my phone.

I will try to get a picture for you next week.

I did finish my cowl!  And I'm starting on my next one Sunday night.  Not the same pattern.  The next one is a Laura Nelkin Cambrio.

I also did some digitizing on a design a customer wanted and I started to stitch out a sample.  Hope this works.  That is one thing about digitizing you really can't tell until you stitch out the first one.....lol

Have a good week everyone!

Success Stories @Quilter Depot!

So last week I thought I had found the cord for my camera.  Sadly I have not. I might have to just stop using that camera or go to amazon and see if I can find one.

I have like a zillion usb cables.  You would think one would work.

I do have a couple from Mom's camera though.

Great work everyone!

This Week w/Jenn @Quilters Depot

Hi all!

Well I really didn't do anything this week.  I'm not sure where the week went.  I met with two reps.  taught two long arm classes.  I did about 6 rows on my cowl.  I think that leaves me with like 6........lol

Maybe tonight, but who really wants to pick up yarn when it's this hot!

I did spend the day writing the newsletter. So stay tuned to your in boxes on Friday for all the latest classes and news!

I think that's all!

Do you love to Shop Hop?  Do you love to make quilts?  Do you love to win?

This is a different type of Shop Hop!
Row by Row Experience began in 2011 with 20 quilt shops across New York State. In 2012 the event grew to include 62 participating shops. Pennsylvania came on board in 2013 for a total of 138 shops throughout the two states. In 2014 over 1250 quilt shops participated in 34 states and Ontario. Plans are underway for the biggest and best Row by Row Experience ever in 2015! All 50 states and several more Canadian provinces are planning fun for travelers throughout the summer. Although the quilt shops are organized by area, quilters have no borders. Travel, shop, collect patterns and add rows to your quilt from any anywhere!

All 50 US states and Canada, too!

No passports! No fees!

Travel and collect rows:
June 21 - Sept. 8, 2015

Bring in completed
quilt for prize:
June 21 - Oct. 31, 2015

How about this… a shop hop type event with no fees, no passports and all summer to play? Simply visit any of the participating shops and receive a free pattern for a row in a quilt. Combine your rows in any way to create a unique quilt that represents the fun you had traveling throughout the summer. Travel with friends, discover new quilt shops and have fun collecting rows!

Prizes, collectibles and more fun!

Create a quilt using at least 8 different 2015 rows from 8 different 2015 participating RxR shops and be the first to bring it into a participating shop to win a stack of 25 fat quarters (6-1/4 yards of fabric!). Use that shop’s row in your quilt and win a bonus prize!

Exclusive Fabric Plates by Zebra Patterns will be available in shops around the country. Each one is unique! Collect a bunch to create fun projects, sewing studio wall art or even a fun backing for your quilt.

This Week w/Jenn @Quilters Depot!

Hi all!

Laundry done!  Schedule Done!  Now it's time to work on some inventory and maybe start writing the newsletter so I don't have to do everything next weekend.

I have been working on my Embroidery BOM!  By next weekend I hope to have Month 2 done.  I won't admit that we are on Month 4.........lol

I have about 8 more rows on my cowl.  Hope to get some work done on that tonight.

Other than that ummmmmmmm it's been a paperwork type of week.

I will also admit there will not be alot of blogs this week.  There is new stuff at the store but I didn't log it in.  I also had a success story to show you but I can't find my cable to unload the camera it's on. I think I know where the cable is.  At least I hope I do...........lol

Have a great week everyone!
