This Week w/Jenn @Quilters Depot

Hi all!

I have a very bad habit that I make things for people and forget to take pictures of them.  So this week I get a Smart Needle free design.  It's Halloween and I'm not a big Halloween person so I decided to make the design for our Deb at the store.  I did a place mat with it but I forgot to take a picture.

I did want to try their designs and will probably go shopping for more.  Like I need more designs.  They are like fabric, thread, etc.  You have a stash you never use!

I also have been working on my Hoop Sisters BOM.   Nope no picture there either........lol

Hope you have a great weekend and upcoming week!

This Week W/Jenn @Quilters Depot!

Hi all!

So what did I do this week.  I swear I don't know!

I worked on some of my my Hoop Sisters BOM!  Two nights I taught Handi Quilter Classes and I spent too much time as usual on paperwork!

I hope this week to get a few more blocks done.  I have my to do list the shortest it's been in a long time!  Maybe I can keep it that way or work on things on the long term to do list that never gets shorter.......lol

In the knitting, I am trying to knit a Hello Kitty doll.  Black n Gold version.  I am really moving slow but since i'm not motivated to knit anything else I might as well keep slogging through this.

Have a great week!

Jenn's NEW FAVORITE Brother Machine @Quilters Depot

Now that I have this music stuck in your head!  Isn't You tube awesome!  Well it's awesome if this works!  Hopefully you can click on the picture/video above if not click on the link below.

I would like to introduce you to........................

If you have always wanted to Embroider Ball Caps, Stuffed Animals, Socks, Shirts, you name it without having to fight with your project on a regular embroidery machine this machine is for you!  Based on and looking like a 10 or 6 needle this is a ONE needle but you can do so many things with this free standing arm machine!

If you have ever wanted to start your own embroidery business but found the larger machines too expensive come talk to me!  This is the machine for you!

To top it off it will have DISNEY DESIGNS!  you also can add more from I-broidery.  Now you can't sell the Disney stuff but how fun would it be to decorate those kids clothes and heck yours with Disney designs!

We will have one in hopefully in the next month!  We will having some demos and play time for you.
So stay tuned for more info.  There is a really cool table that you can also order!  We will be having one of those too!  It will make it alot easier to roll around the store and demo for you!

Below are some pics I took.  You can come check out the ballcap, hedgehog and a small zipper purse that Debbie, Verna and I did in class!

If you want one come talk to me!  I will announce when it's in the store!

What's New from Brother Machine Convention!

Instead of doing success stories we are going to take two days and go through some of the new stuff from convention.

First up is the new Dream Fabric Frame.  This is a "Fabric Movement System" that Brother has introduced.  Don't call it a Quilting Frame it is more.  If you cannot fit a Long Arm into your house and the Sweet is not for you then this might be the option for you.  If you have one of Several Brother Machines you will have Stitch Regulation.  If you have another machine you can use the concept but not the stitch regulation.  We will not be having a floor model because we do not have room but if you would like information on it come talk to Jenn.

Some of these Machines you have seen in the store already!  If we do not have a floor model we can still get it for you!

There is a new Scan Cut out!  Stay tuned to emails and such, Debbie and I are planning a really cool class that all of you Cricket, Silouette and old Scan Cut machines will want to come too!

This is just a little bit.  Sometimes I forgot to take pics!

Come talk to us and stay tuned to tomorrow's blog.  My favorite new product will be introduced!

This Week w/Jenn @Quilters Depot!

Yes,  I know I haven't blogged in over a week!

Did you miss me?  lol

I had big plans to blog when i was in Nashville for the Convention, but my hotspot on my phone was eating up my dataplan and the fancy hotel did not give you free wiifii unless you paid an excessive amount.

So today, you get to see alot of my personal pictures I took.

Monday will be new stuff at the store as usual.

Tuesday will be new stuff from the convention itself!  Lots and Lots of pics!

The Ryman Auditorium.

One of the hole in the wall Barbeque joints on Broadway.

The Nashville Predators hockey arena.  If you know me you shouldn't be surprised I took these pics. Too bad there was no hockey going on.........lol

Hard Rock Cafe.

Debbie and a street performer.  Yes that's a statue.  It's a real guy!  There were several of these dudes up and down Broadway!

For you Parrot Heads.  Margariteaville
This was the entertainment (Hot Country Nights) on the Stonewall Jackson Steamboat during the convention wrap up party.  With the Blurry pic you can almost pretend it was a big named performer of your choice!  lol

The rest of the week was spend trying to catch up on my paperwork and working on my Hoop Sisters BOM!

This Week w/Jenn @Quilters Depot!

Hi all!

I got my next round of blocks sewn onto my BOM!

Check it out!  I probably could quit now.......lol  I won't though! This is only 3.5 months of the BOM!

I also finished a cheater panel.  I don't care what others say Cheater Panels are sooooo cool!  You will see this in what's new tomorrow also.  In less than 3 hours I had everything done on this.  The quilting and the binding.  I don't do binding so that is what took the longest!  This is going to be hung in my office at the bank!  I listen to y108 everyday and I always say the pledge along with them so this will be a great hanging for the office!

I think that's all I have to tell you today!

remember, the one with the most stash wins!
