Dress Your Table! Quilting 201

No matter what level you are this is a great class! Joan is one of our newer teachers and she has a great class for you!  It's starting Wednesday afternoon or evening so register now!

Dress Up Your Table: Quilting 201:

Dress up your tables for the holiday season with some new accessories. In November, Joan will teach a 201 class series featuring a matching runner and placemats plus a coordinating coil basket. Each runner requires 27 five inch squares, and each placemat takes 12 squares. Batting and backing complete the project. Both runner and mats can be made “mini-sized” (too cute!) by using 2.5 inch squares. The baskets are made using one inch strips of coordinating fabrics and cotton clothesline. Size and shape will be individually determined. Joan will have samples and suggestions for creating a new look for your table. Level 200:
When:
Session 1: Wednesdays, November 2, 9th and 16th @1 to 4pm
Session 2: Wednesdays November 2nd, 9th and 16th @5:30 to 8:30pm.
Cost: $35 + supplies.  Teacher: Joan Kugler.

This Week w/Jenn @Quilters Depot

Hi

Ummm, I didn't do anything again this week.  I'm not sure what is happening............lol

I finally picked up my knitting last night.  Finished one scrubby and started another.  I should be knocking these things out faster..............lol

Oh well.  I really hope to get back to trimming and sewing together the Elegant Elements out.

Let's cross my fingers on that one!

This week watch the blog.  I will spot light two events this week.  One great 201 level class and my next Elegant Elements Session!

Stay tuned

I can't even remember what I did but I know I didn't do one thing crafty!  I had my knitting sitting there but never picked it up.  I didn't get any farther on sewing the BOM together.  Did i show you what i had done already?  I apologize if i have............lol

I hope to get a few more rows done.

i also hope to get knitting on my scrubbies.  Christmas is fast approaching.

Fall 2016 Quilters Depot Retreat!

You all know I stink at recording things for posterity with the camera!

So here are the pictures I did take!  Sorry for any blurriness.  My phone was full of Penguin opening night pictures and videos so I didn't have enough room so I had to use the old fashion camera..........lol

Great work to everyone!  The dates have been set.  Prices have not since I have to make a change with the lunch and I'm trying very hard not to raise the price to pay for it.  However, I have three choices.  Subway boxed lunches or going with our caterer that we usually use, or something different from the hotel.  The last two will be more expensive and I am hesitant to do that.

Check out the photos below!

remember you also can be at a Quilters Depot Retreat!  Stay tuned to the November/December newsletter.  I should have prices set and registration open.  Tell your family and friends what you really want for Christmas!  A Spring 2017 Quilters Depot Retreat Reservation!

This Week w/Jenn @Quilters Depot!

Let's see if any of this makes sense!

Home from our Fall Retreat!  Thank you to everyone who helps out employees and customer wise!  There are a few of you who are customers that I should hire if you didn't have full time jobs already!

I am sharing one picture with you today!

That is 1/3 of my Elegant Elements Quilt.  I have 8 more rows to sew together! I had machine issues on Saturday so I did not get as far as I wanted.  Stay tune to Tuesday and I will post some pictures from retreat!

This Week w/Jenn @Quilters Depot!

Hi all!

I have all my fabric cut for the last two months of the Elegant Elements BOM sample.

I hope to finish that during the retreat next weekend.  The rest of the week was trying to decide what to take to retreat.  That is one of the hardest things.  You pack with really good intentions and then you come back and nothing is finished..............lol

Below are the scrubbies that I am making everyone for Christmas.  Different colors and different shapes.  I love these things because I can make one in an evening.  I never do but I could if I tried hard............lol

Just a heads up if you are a local reading this we will be closed Friday, October 14th and Saturday, October 15 for our retreat. We will open on Monday, October 17th @noon!

This Week w/Jenn @Quilters Depot

Hi all!

man i'm tired of the past days of rain!  Hopefully the fall will be dry or rainy so that winter will be dry..............lol

So i promised you pictures of my dog sweater!  Below is a picture of the sweater and then the sweater being modeled by "M".  She's not my dog.  She belongs to our sales associate Kathleen and I just picked her as the one who gets my sweater.  I know neither of my cats would wear it even though they are size of small dogs.............lol

I have given up on this year's current Christmas presents.  They will be next year's.........lol  I found something else that every one will be getting and are much easier and quicker to knit!
